Manufacturers Prepare for Eco Friendly Future

Green is the new technology change for 2008 among the industry leaders, designers and entrepreneurs to place more importance on eco friendly production in all the new technologies. The first Greener Gadgets conference that was held in New York City on February 1st, showcased a wide range of principles and technologies designs that were concerned about nature. The showcase highlights include a solar/wind powered device charger, methanol based fuel cell mobile device charger and various straightforward solutions for reducing the printed material in offices.

Nokia has already come up with an eco friendly cell phone which is named as 3110 Evolve. This phone uses bio materials and includes a charger which only uses electricity when you charge the handset. The Europeans are also targeting the package of these phones as they aim to use a higher percentage of recycled material and smaller boxes to cut down the blister packs that are eco unfriendly. Apart from the real mobile device production there are more and more consumers who are being encouraged to recycle their mobile phones with a considerable cash reward on offer for both their new and old phone. So, even if your mobile phone does not work properly any more, you can still receive a partial value for your handset. You can check out various websites to find out how much your handset is worth although it has gone old. So, just giving off your old mobile phone to be recycled will not cost you any money as you would also become much more eco friendly.
